In THE RabIT's EyE I have used the WML™ IR almost for a year – it has its permanent position in the left rail, at the end of the 12" PWS MK1 MOD2. It is a natural position of the WML™ for the right-handed person. Seemingly, you may think about placing in on the back rail, but I just do not shoot with the C-Clamp, but I position my thumb along this short section of the rail on the left part of the handguard. The WML has minimum weight, which does not change a balance of the weapon and does not burden it excessively. It is a great advantage as larger weight at the end of the barrel is not comfortable during the longer training. So far, the body is resistant to the efforts made during shooting although I had some doubts at the very be- ginning, because I saw 1st gen light with a fallen-out head and a cracked body. Here nothing like that hap- pens, so probably the guys from the Inforce solved this problem. The entire stuff is sealed well, and even the intensive precipitations make no impression on the WML™ - I did not dive with this flashlight so do not know if it withstands an immersion at the depth of 20 meters. In terms of ergonomics: flawlessly, under a condition that the weapon is not kept by a mag well or vertical grip. The problems occur only when you change your shooting hand for the weak one – with a grip with the right hand by the handguard there is no option to use the flashlight. The streamline shape enables to align the WML™ well into the weapon lines and it does not catch with anything, in that on the sling. To tell you the truth this shape and weight en- courage to mount it on the helmet rail, but these 400 lumens on the helmet-mounted flashlight is an abso- lute overkill. Guaranteed – self-blinding. The button work reliably, with an explicit click, has a suitable selected texture, so it is easily palpable. The lever for shifting the modes of operating works with noticeable resistance, and its shifting in the gloves may not be problem-free. In the end that is good as you avoid a possibility of accidental switching of the modes what in the battle condition may finish fatal- ly… The mechanical lock-out – is include, works. All the same I always twist off the head by a half-turn for the transportation period – I am 100% certain that I will not be surprised when I try to turn on the flash- light with the accidentally discharged battery. The mount on the rail – very cool, easy-to-operate, keeps reliably, nothing loosens. The light: strong, sharp, well concentrated spot and rather wide, soft spill, nicely illuminating a quite large accessories
