Olight S10R Baton III The Olight S10R Baton III its trul- ly compact flashlight and fits practically every- where – in the pocket, waist bag or backpack or- ganizer… It's perfect as EDC tool or as a backup, when our main light runs out. Olight S10R Baton III has powerful LED featuring 600 lumens output in strongest mode. Maybe it is slight exaggera- tion with this small flashlight and backup, but it better to have it, then not to have it. The flashlight can be charged wireless with the charging dock – it is a good idea, because it has no sockets, plugs or another magical thingies, which have tendencies to tear away. The con- nectors do not show any tendencies to make dirty and clog up in the most unexpected mo- ment. The charging connector is located in the lower part of the tail cap so it is enough to stand the flashlight on the charging dock included in the kit and it can be easily charged. The flash- light can be powered both from the wall, and by the USB port in the PC or power bank. How long does charging take? To tell you the truth, I do not know – I have never discharged it up to zero level. I always insert it into the charge base after longer use. It is a good idea that you may replace the rechargeable battery with standard one – since it may happen that the flashlight discharges or we do not have our power bank, or we want to save it for charging the other devices. In such a situation we can just take a backup CR123A and it is done. In the rear, beside the connectors, there is a mag- net, which sometimes can be very handy. In the places, where it is very hard to connect prob- lem-free any flashlight, we just connect the Olight S10R Baton III to any metal surface (certainly, the ferromagnetic surface). A strength of the magnet is sufficient to keep the flashlight and there is no risk of its fall. When it comes to light mounting system, the clip on the body can be removed – entirely or revert and chose, if we want to carry the flashlight in our pocket while its lens is ori- ented upwards or downwards. Moreover, while combing it with a ball cap you can easily make a headlamp – it is a very convenient. Additionally, you can fix the lanyard to the flashlight, but I did not do that as I cannot find any use for it. The rubber coated switch is on side and it is eas- ily to manipulate it. The clicks are tactile and I had no problems with changing its modes. The modes are selected not badly. In any case they meet my requirements. accessories
