I must highlight that the pants have one peculiar feature that I have happened to make use of. The material of the pants dries instantly. Very often, I ended up with my Defiants wet up to the knees, above the knees, or ever above the waist. Each time, the pants were the first part of clothing that dried up. My Defiants are in the Solid Rock color – it is a relatively neutral shade of gray that can be easily combined with other colors. I very often wear them with a shirt with colorful checkered shirt and that makes the pants become casual. They lose their tactical and military look. The classic rule "less is more" fully reflects the nature of Clawgear Defiant Flex Pants, which contributes to their universality. You can use them to train at a shooting range, go hiking on mountain trails, spend an evening with friends at your favorite pub, as well as wear them, without any hesitation or concerns, on a casual Friday. Clawgear Defiant Flex Pants have an edge but for everyday use. Rabbits's opinion I like tactical style, but recently I have preferred it to be less obtrusive (yes, sometimes I wear MultiCam pants when I go to the office). Besides, I usually have a backpack and/or waist bag, so most of EDC gadgets are there. I use pants pockets to carry my smartphone, folder knife, and (on rare occasions) documents or a Kydex wallet. Sometimes, I need a place to hide my car keys in when I leave the car and go to e.g. a shop. That is why I do not need an excessive number of pockets – I'd rather have them discrete and ergonomically arranged. They do not have too be too capacious, although my keys need some space (because they include my garage keys, a car wash token, and a pendant with a bunny...). I have had and still have several pairs of low-profile tactical pants: Helikon-tex UTP, Arc'teryx LEAF xFunctional, Vertx, and other. Some of them are more, some of them are less tactical. I think old Vertx pants are the ones I like the most, but one pair got totally worn-out and another one is on the verge of its service life. That is why Clawgear Defiant Flex Pants were like a bull's eye. They have a simple and comfortable cut – not too loose, not too saggy. However, the only thing I would change is the rise – for me, they could be 2–3 cm lower, but it is still fine. They are convenient, do not obstruct movement, and fit when during everyday use – in a car, at the office, in the street, at a shooting range, etc. CLOTHING
