themselves. Certainly, there are people from the Elite, who cover these kilometers and obstacles on time, usu- ally two-three times quicker than me, but the most part of the participants are the people at almost every age, from the youngest up to hmm … even more mature in years than me (yeah, such people are still alive). Because besides a result and time the most important is to con- quer yourself, your weakness, sometimes your fear (as it is high, wet, cold, under voltage …) during such runs and what is of not less importance, awareness that you must run in the team, that it is equally important as safety and helping each other on the route, because – certainly, aside from the elite of the competitors – many of the ob- stacles could not be overcome alone. And the coolest moments were at the end – it is probably a tradition of these runs that the organizers as the last obstacle conceive a spectacular one. During the Tough Viking it was called the "10 000 Volt" (I have mentioned it above). In order to be sure that the competitors will conduct electricity in a good manner, everyone, regard- less of being dry (there were rather no such people …), or wet, was abundantly sprinkled with water prior to run- ning under this obstacle. The impressions and electric shocks unforgettable, but 5 meters further is already the finish line, medals, drinks, sweet photos and fame. It is a pity that due to my tiredness I did not noticed that these 10,000V had the other alternative way alongside, which could be chosen instead of the electric shocks, and which consisted in the low passage under two or three barriers … Well, at least I proved to myself that I am tough :) Would I repeat the Tough Viking? On the next day – de- cidedly not, just because that my left hand stopped to function in the upper lifting angles. But if somebody proposes me a start in the Luminox Spec Ops Challenge 2017 powered by Tough Viking in the next year, and moreover under the Luminox flag with the same band, I will only ask: when should I take my leave?
