HK433
The HK433 assault rifle, a Heckler & Koch
proposal for the German Bundswehr new
assault rifle program wasn't officially shown
during the MILIPOL, but we were lucky
enough to have a private photo session with
the latest product of the HK.
The new short-stroke piston rifle is a blend
of the best parts from the G36 and HK416.
It was designed as a fully modular weapon
system and 100% ambidextrous. The first
and base variant developed accordingly to
Bundeswehr requirements is 5.56 mm NATO.
There are two different options for the lower
receiver (the rifle features monolithic upper
receiver and polymer lower), one comes
with the HK416 or AR-style controls and
the second has magazine release lever and
safety switch as in the G36. User can opt
in for one of the versions. HK433 will be
offered in black and RAL8000 FDE color.
