Readability: better than good, especially because of the LLT which are helpful even in day light. During the nighttime, the LLT literally shines. If you want to stay hidden, just keep the watch under the cuff. Bezel is easy to operate and it is tactile. It seems that it won't rotate on its own as it happened in my Team Leader. Durability: no problems. I didn't do any stress- tests, but I wasn't too careful. I have just used it. No extreme stuff, but usual every day carry plus some fun on the shooting range. No signs of use or problems with watch. Absolutely no scratches on the glass, case or whatsoever. And the strap is still intact. The only thing I could complain too where the strap keepers, the strap slides out from them. Cleaning: never had any issues. Tap water, brush, soap and you're done. Timekeeping and precision. It is not an atomic watch, but sufficient for daily use. After half year of use, the difference between watch and the website I used to set it was like two seconds or less. I really like Master Carbon SEAL 3813 (Team Leader still rules!), but of course, not everyone will share my feelings. It is rugged, but still pretty sim- ple (date, hour and nothing else) watch. And pretty expensive too. THUS SPOKE SHASH The Luminox Master Carbon SEAL 3813 – every time someone asks me what kind of Lu- minox watch I have, I must think a bit because the name is just to long to remember. I won't be writing about the features as I don't want to make you feel bored after reading a story about the extreme SERE mission to the local 7-Elev- en when Luminox 3813 saved my life because I made it to store just before closing hour... I was using it on everyday basis – riding bike, hiking, diving in Adriatic Sea, shooting ranges, some heavy duty work, TCCC course and more to give you idea about scenarios. Rugged. Or rugged as phuck. The Master Carbon SEAL 3813 is ultra-durable timepiece, and I am sure it will withstand almost every- thing. Alright, I didn't shoot to it (that would be nonsense at all), but I had absolutely no problems with it. Scratches caused by rocks? Forget it! The durable, matte case is rock solid and it can't be beaten up. The sapphire glass? Rocks, stones, metal casings flying, gravel and sand? Not a scratch! The thick and aggressive- ly textured bezel with clear white numbers can be used even with heavy winter glove. www.fragoutmag.com
