The company responsible for that sys- tem is Trainshot Ltd. from Bratislava, Slovakia (on their website we can also read that it's in Europe on planet Earth). Trainshot is a device desgined for shooting training from both hand- guns and rifles (with some restric- tions mentioned). It is unique because all results are constantly being sent to users' devices – smartphones or tab- lets via Bluetooth connection, QR code scanner and software. Somehow it is a paper "smart targets" system as stated by Trainshot. The basic version consists of armored electronic module which can be con- nected with special paper target (four versions available: two sport variants, tactical and hunting, but it is possible to order custom ones) that conducts elec- tric signals. Module has electronics with sensors that receive signals from target and modify them for an output signal for user, LED diodes for signaling, Bluetooth module and control button. It is pow- ered by 4 AAA batteries which should be enought 40 hours of continuous work. Everything is secured with frontal armor made of Hardox 500 steel. Bluetooth reaches up to 70 meters and when you need to shoot on long distance you can use a transmitter that increases the range up to 1000 meters. Paper targets are 59 x 44 cm and everything is printed with electric-con- ducting material in layers (4 types to choose from). It withstands from 70 to 400 hits, depends on ammunition and caliber used. Due to the material used for target printing and it works (conducting layers connected by penetrating projec- tile) – moisture can false the results or even prevent from receiving them. Over moisturized target is signaled by elec- tronic device. Every target comes with unique QR code which must be scanned before use. The app will recognize the target and count every hit. The target is automatically "turned off" after 400 registered puls- es and it is required to be replaced for a new one.
