T R A I N S H O T O N T H E R A N G E Yeah, Trainshot is a lot of fun. Even a single device provides a lot of possibilities starting from "free-for-all shooting" in which the device gives you feedback about hit area, speed shooting (shooting on the signal) and more complex speed and aware- ness shooting (device choose the target). Of course, you can organize some competition where contestants try to be the fastest and most precise shooter. Real fun begins when you have more than one device for your use. Up to four of them can be used simultaneously. You can shoot the targets marked by devices (sound and green LED lights) or set up a shooting track. Of course, you can compete with each other when shooting at the same time. Trainshot is a real thief! It steals your time and ammo. It gives a lot of fun and encourage to get better results of your aim and speed. Adrenaline is raised even more when you start to compete with each other. The bullets go down the range even quicker as everyone wants to be the best and the losers try to pay back. Time flies, more casings hits the ground, wide smiles are still on the faces and after some time you come to your senses. Mostly when you don't have like anything to reload your magazines… We've shot 9 mil pistols and .223 rifles and we admit that product manual does not lie. Device records hits with a "nin- er" without any problems (promised 99,99% is a real deal) even when paper targets are quite abused. Of course, if someone has a good aim and will make a hole-in-hole, the system will not record that. It is different with the .223. The manufacturer warns that responsivity is lower. And it is. Brand new targets are not a problem but just pop some holes in them and their responsivity decreases to about 85%, as mentioned in the manual. Durability doesn't differ from the that stated in the manual and the num- ber of hits left can be checked in the app. Where Trainshot can be used? Let's be honest – it is not a device that will precisely show hits, at least at this moment. Precision is same as in IPSC shooting (every target has 5 hit zones – in IPSC Alpha is a single zone and the other are divide for the right and left ones), so it works best for dynamic shoot- www.fragoutmag.com
