to the right side of the gun and are released with large push button on the left of the stock. Rifles can fire with stocks folded. IRONSIGHTS & ACCESSORIES GROT has six QD sling attach- ment points (three on each side): in the front of handguard, in the rear of lower receiver and in the stock. Rifle comes with metal backup sights attached to the top Picatin- ny rail. They are metal flip-ups sim- ilar to Magpul MBUS PROs. BREN S1 has four polymer loops (two on each side) for sling locat- ed on upper receiver. The sights are also metal adjustable flip-ups. BRIEF SUMMARY The legacy BREN S1 and GROT are completely different rifles. The original CZ 805 BREN military ri- fle was ordered by Czech military in 2010 and deliveries were com- pleted in 2013. BREN S1 was dis- continued in 2018. Since 2015 the re-designed CZ 806 BREN 2 was released which is a clean-sheet product. It is commercially avail- able now as BREN 2 MS. MSBS/ GROT is also in constant develop- ment and initially there are 3 gen- erations planned (M1, M2 and final M3). Military rifles in older variants will be upgraded to the latest ones during scheduled maintenance.
