BEFORE AFTER The trigger groups are in 50% of their life-span but we have decided to replace the springs and to add the anti-walk pins. These pins provide positive retention of hammer and trigger pins. Cap screws limit pin movement preventing walkout. This also prevents the wear in the lower receiver pin holes where steel has contact with aluminium alloy. Barrel housings were left as they were, but again, there were differences in physical condition of them. In ML rifle, the cleaning was rather scarce, there were some signs of rust which required cleaning. Barrel housings were cleaned and prepared for re-painting. Barrels do not have any signs of damage or wear. Accor- ding to the gunsmith, the expected life is at least 15,000 rounds. Standard muzzle devices were replaced with the Swiss-made B&T suppressor-ready compensators with new bushings. B&T muzzle devices look awesome and incredibly decrease the recoil forces impact on shooter for faster target acquisition and rapid shooting. Gas blocks. According to the gunsmith, "these should be replaced", especially in the gun with higher round count. Due the COVID-19 pandemic spare parts were unavailable and we need to postpone the replacement of these. Our old gas blocks were thoroughly cleaned and valves were replaced with the new ones.
