of the spent case.
This pressure assists in extrac-
tion by breaking the seal between
the chamber and case as well as
pushing the spent case to the rear
as the extractor is pulled to the
rear. This removes a tremendous
amount of work that would other-
wise be left up to the extractor.
P-415's BCG has no separate
gas key but mechanical key built in
and positioned behind the cam pin.
As a result, this prevents carrier tilt
and eliminates the possibility of
the key becoming misaligned. The
bolt itself is a standard, chrome-li-
ned, AR-15 bolt. Roller cam pin was
redesigned and it features the pi-
voting bearing instead of the stan-
dard rectangular part. As a result,
the smoothness of the operation
of this component and its interac-
tion with the interior of the upper
receiver has been greatly impro-
ved, which significantly reduces its
abrasion from the sliding cam pin.
