Defense Sector Events MSPO – MSPO 2023 in Kielce was, as usual, the key event on our schedule. During a joint exhibition organized under the "Gen- erational Leap for Defense Industry" slogan, all companies gathered within the PGZ Group showcased their varied, en- gaging, interesting product offer. Apart from the contracts list- ed above, and concluded during the event, representatives of the Polish government, foreign governments, and foreign businesses visited the PGZ's exhibition. Notably, the PGZ Group also acted as a strategic partner of the MSPO event. The MSPO exhibition also brought the Group numerous dis- tinctions and awards. The new amphibious IFV, Borsuk, was awarded as one of the products that best serves to raise the levels of safety for the soldiers serving in the Polish Armed Forces. Mała Narew system (Little Narew) received the Min- ister's of Defense Special Distinction. Territorial Defense Forces Commander Distinction in the light infantry inventory category was presented for the containerized firearms stor- age designed for storing weapons, ammunition, and other equipment used by military units. A special Award Presented by the Minister of Development and Technology for the Best Polish Arms Exporter was given to Mesko S.A. The following PGZ Group companies also received three Defender awards: • WZŁ Nr 1 S.A. for the MCC1 Mobile Communications Center; • consortium formed by: PGZ's ZURAD Sp. z o. o., and Modu- lar System Sp. z o.o., for the mobile 20-foot 1C Weapons Storage; • The consortium formed by: the Air Force Institute of Tech- nology (leader), War Studies University, and Military Electronic Works for the SSPWE field training system simulating EW con- ditions. The organizers also awarded the PGZ Group for the scale and innovation of the presented exhibition - the third time in a row. Several PGZ Group employees also received awards and medals for their flawless record in working for Poland and defense. IDEX – During the 16th edition of IDEX organized in Abu Dhabi, in late February, PGZ showcased a broad portfolio of services and products designed for the representatives of Armed Forc- es, and other uniformed services. POLSECURE – The PGZ Group demonstrated its products and solutions during the second edition of the POLSECURE International Police and Public Safety Exhibition, organized in Kielce on April 25th-27th. Defence24 Day – PGZ participated in another edition of the Defence24 DAY conference, held at the PGE Narodowy stadium in Warsaw, as a strategic partner. The Group presented products by some of its companies, and PGZ representatives took part in four panels, and five presentations planned over 2 days. Seoul ADEX – PGZ Group companies also exhibited their products at the Seoul International Aerospace and Defense Exhibition, held on October 17th-22nd, 2023, in Seoul. ADEX is the most prestigious, and the most multidimensional defense exhibition in North-East Asia, with the biggest defense industry players showcasing their products there. DSEI – Happening a few days after Kielce, the DSEI event in Lon- don offered the PGZ Group an opportunity to showcase a broad range of products, and also to promote projects and programs pursued hand-in-hand with the UK defense industry. www.fragoutmag.com
