THE EVENT TOOK PLACE AT THE MILITARY INSTITUTE OF ARMAMENT TECHNOLOGY IN ZIELONKA. ACTING IN THE CAPACITY OF BOTH DISTRIBUTOR, AND MANUFACTURER, THE COMPANY INVITED REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ARMED FORCES, UNIFORMED SERVICES, AND GUESTS FROM POLAND AND ABROAD, TO SHOWCASE THE LATEST OF THE AVAILABLE SOLUTIONS. Following the COVID-19 Pandemic, this event has been the largest demonstration event that we have organized. Our goal was to showcase the latest modifications of products provided by our partners, especially those, whose solutions have undergone recent upgrades - said Jakub Bokiewicz, President of WORKS 11. The showcased products included the 60.7 mm ANTOS lightweight mortar, spoken of hi- ghly by the operators, because of its compact, lightweight design, and safety of use. Based on the user's opinions, and opinions submitted by the representatives of the Polish Armed For- ces, several enhancements were implemented for the mortar. Changes were made to the ba- seplate, making it easier to aim the mortar and keep it stable during the engagement. The fire selector system was also modified. All chan- ges resulted in the birth of a brand new, upgra- ded variant. Another product demonstrated in Zielonka was the Antos LR - an extended range variant, and with a bipod and baseplate, usual- ly used in conventional mortar designs. The demonstration was also attended by Chri- stopher Travis Dillon, Dillon Aero (manufactu- rer of the M134D Minigun) owner. The long- -standing cooperation between Works 11 and Dillon Aero resulted in some Works 11 shares being acquired by the Dillon Aero owner. Live demonstration of the M134D was an element of demonstration that must have been inc- luded in the program. Several thousand rounds of ammo were used during the demo, to show- case the capabilities offered by this weapons system. The demonstration program also included the showcase of the MD530 attack/reconnaissan- ce helicopter which is very versatile across a broad mission set. Thanks to the Dillon Aero www.fragoutmag.com
