General view
port in the castle
and assembly
of the rear sight
Sight viewfinder
window with
visible dot
setup. It's more of a 1/4 than a per-
fect 1/3 co-witness, but it's definitely
usable in a pinch. And yes, that rear
sight isn't your typical Glock sight,
but it's the exact same height.
Aimpoint even put the COA through
the wringer, mounting it on a Glock
45 and running a grueling 40,000 ro-
unds of 9 mm 124-grain ammo thro-
ugh it. The result? It held up like a
champ! So, durability definitely isn't
something you need to worry about.
I had the chance to play with the
Aimpoint COA at Enforce Tac, both
alone and already mounted on
Glocks, and I even got to compare
it directly to the ACRO P-2. No qu-
estion, this new optic is smaller, bet-
ter looking, and more user-friendly
when it comes to controls, all while
keeping the core strengths of its
predecessor. It definitely has a more
modern vibe and just looks… good.
