Size and construction: everything is made of plas- tic, but still looks solid. The look of the flashlight is dominated by flat surfaces and edges, but it results in lines that are pleasant to the eye. Switches have been placed in the back flap of the flashlight and consist of two wings – they look as if they were one with the body and look perfectly with the rest. Dimensions: 76 x 30 x 32 mm Weight: according to producer's data 2.8 oz / 80.2 g (on my scales: 82 g). It is very light, yet not that small. Attachment: it must be mentioned that there are two versions of attachment, which probably results from the evolution and development of the model. In the previous model, the fixing clamp was blocked on the rail with a screw, in the newer model – with a lever that perfectly fits in the body of the flashlight. Consultation with users show, however, that the sec- ond way of attachment is not that stable as the pre- vious one. Due to the difference in the span of rails, the weapon includes a replaceable element, which, after insert- ing, allows to quickly switch between those systems. What's important, the unused element is being fixed in the flashlight, which makes it difficult to lose it and allows replacing it at any moment. Switch: it is probably the biggest advantage of this flashlight. "Wings" of the switch are ambidextrous They are profiled in such a way, that they embrace the trig- ger guard, which makes it easier to reach them even for people with short fingers. It is also important that both switches, on one and the other side, work in the same way. Quick press will switch on the permanent mode, while constant pressing will switch on the temporary mode until the press is released. Output: 200 lumens. It may seem too little, but in case of firearms at CQB distances it will be enough. However, one must remember that the glass of the head, after several dozens of shots, may get dirty. In such case, the flashlight lacks some power. Power source: Single CR123 3V battery. It is assem- bled by unscrewing the whole lighting module at the front of the flashlight, which is convenient, since one does not have to take off the flashlight to replace the batteries. Additionally, it is also possible to slight- ly unscrew the module, which removes the risk of switching the flashlight one, when it is being trans- ported www.fragoutmag.com
