a sealed flap that closes the battery
compartment (two CR123s put next
to each other), which is blocked
with a tin latch. The batteries can
be replaced with rechargeables.
The flashlight can be fixed to the
gun by attachment in the upper part
– it is a quick-release system, con-
venient for attachment and remov-
al. The main part of the attachment
system is a clip with a lever and a
bar that aligns the flashlight on the
rail. The Valkyrie PL-2 kit includes
two bars – one for MIL-STD-1913
rail and second for Glock pistols
rail.l. The bar is fixed with two
screws, the socket head wrench to
tighten those screws comes with the
light.
Olight Valkyrie PL-2 is IPX6-com-
pliant and can withstand a fall from
1 meter.
Olight Valkyrie PL-2 comes in a
box that contains WML and acces-
sories, as well as a printed manual.
In use
When taken out from the box, the
Olight Valkyrie PL-2 makes a very
good impression. A sturdy con-
struction aluminum body, a steel
cap to increase falling resistance,
a steel clip that allows fast and
convenient attachment to the gun
without additional tools. I had the
impression that I received a product
that had been at least twice more
expensive than the suggested at
