bar (in case of the military version) or T-Nuts (with M-LOK). As shown on the photos, that is exactly how factory mounts that single rail pie- ce on the A1 rail and flashlight mo- unt on the civilian version. De facto we could mount that weapon light directly to that regulator lock com- pletely ignoring rail piece because the screw spacing of the blockade corresponds with M-LOK spacing of the screws. Side note – both civilian and milita- ry blockades cannot be mounted on the extended A2 version of the han- d-guard, but there is no point becau- se it would be useless…. Somebody might be mad that it's primitive, coarse and generally un- becoming. No, it's not nothing but simple and well thought out. Is it un- becoming? Up for discussion. I wo- uld like to remind you that different types of tin washers, pins and safety devices have appeared in many we- apon systems for years and still are present these days. When we want to talk about taste and aesthetics, in my opinion this lock looks really good, unlike the M60 gas regulator that is wrapped in steel wire by the manufacturer. Lock(military one) finds its way onto probably every GROT A1 – a good spotter will find them on the rifles of Ukrainian soldiers (and not only). Civilian version might be orde- red directly from the manufacturer but… probably just to have it. I did not hear or see anywhere on the in- ternet information about problems with the civilian rifle (and its gas re- gulator) but a couple of people ask where they can order them. I don't know whether it was for acquiring peace of mind or just because they want and can have it – like me. I personally own both civilian and military versions of the hand-guard) with blockades put on each of them regardless of the fact not having any problems from the beginning and that is 4.5 years… FIREARMS
