especially since the equivalent of one more strap of six cells has been added at the bottom (for dangler or something alike). On either side of this bottom part are 550 cord loops for secu- ring small pieces of kit, such as gloves. On the inside of the main panel there is spacer mesh for more comfort when prone, while between the mesh and outer layer of fabric, there is a sandwiched flat panel with four open- -top AK/AR magazine slots, secured with shockcord. The pa- nel is secured inside with Velcor and might be changed for something different, like .308 magazine panel or 9 mm SMG panel if such interchangeable parts will soon appear in MAPA Tactical line up. The CL-01 Chest rig comes with a simple strap hip belt and comfortable mesh-padded H-shaped shoulder harness (tho- ugh they can be configured into an X-shape). There are additio- nal MOLLE/PALS slots on the front of each strap and on the rear yoke attaching equipment or running cables. The straps allow for a fair amount of size adjustment, with excess straps secured with rubber bands. The harness is connected to the CL-01 main panel with plastic buckles. It's a pity that the desi- gner didn't think of the possibility to quickly attach the CL-01 as a panel to a plate carrier, such as the TMP-02. What comes free with CL-01 chest rig is an admin/cargo po- uch, also made from laser-cut laminate. It is attached to the center of the rig, but can be moved to the lower attachment slots to form something like a dangler or fanny pack. The po- uch has a U-shaped two-way splash-proof zipper with zipper pulls. Thanks to the attached 550 cord, it can open to a 90° downwards from the surface of the chest rig. The interior is Velcro loop and has some elastic webbing loops to keep the items in place. It can be removed if necessary. MAPA EQUIPMENT
