that the TQ will fall out, because it will still hold on, but there is a fear that, with an unlucky coincidence, it will nevertheless slip out. So, you should expect to have to replace the whole thing in some time (I'm betting on a period of at least two years, well, un- less it will be banged hard in harsh conditions, then it will probably last a year, maybe a little more). Pad Set - you can also live without it. Yes, there will probably be a situ- ation in which the panel pinches into the thigh and the user hisses, but for the ordinary "Sunday Commando" it is not an indispensable element. If you're a real commando or you're going to a competition or training where you'll be crawled hard, then yes, you can appreciate it. CHAS™ beats everything I've used so far, unfortunately, including the price. You can live without CHAS™ as well, and that's why I'll say this: it's a solid piece kit, but certainly not for everyone, and certainly not for a per- son who shoots purely recreational. People who have been shooting for a while and know what bothers them and what they are looking for will be satisfied, although the price will hurt, no question. For others, I would very seriously consider whether it is worth it. All in all, I would recommend first borrowing it from a friend who has CHAS™ and see if it changes any- thing at all in my case. If it chan- ges, you'll definitely feel it from the start, and if you don't feel it, then let it go, there's no point (at least at the stage you're at) in spending a lot of money on equipment that will only be "fancy", because it won't change anything in your technique. www.fragoutmag.com www.fragoutmag.com
