ADAMS
ARMS
LOOSE ROUNDS
The overall assessment of Adams
Arms P1 is not obvious. After all,
here in Poland it costs about 60%
of higher grade piston-driven guns,
but this is not an ideal weapon. But
let's be honest - in this price range
almost every rifle will require repla-
cement of the same components
as the P1, i.e. trigger, pistol grip,
reloading handle, stock or hand-
guard, because in this price range
we simply buy a base AR15. Of
course, a working, fully-functional
AR15, but with a lower ergono-
mics. Unfortunately, in the case of
the Adams Arms P1, the biggest
challenge will be handguard repla-
cement. Anyway, when you buy P1
you are buying a piston-driven AR,
which, first thing first, is cleaner to
operate and much easier to main-
tain, and second, by design, works
better with suppressors. As a bo-
nus, it shoots almost any kind of
ammo and is highly resistant to
dirt, which translates into less cle-
aning. Accuracy-wise, sub-MOA
won't be possible but P1 is not me-
ant for precision shooting.
Adams Arms P1 is simply a budget,
entry-level piston-driven AR rifle. If
you don't feel a need to put many
gadgets on your gun, you will be
just fine with P1. After around 300
shots we cannot speak much abo-
ut reliability but online feedback is
rather positive. Gun is solid so it
should be reliable.
