ing from an open bolt, instead of closed-bolt operation of the classic Ma Deuce. There were also small arms available - the most interesting was the suppressed Knight's Armaments SR-30 in .300BLK plus the non-toxic non-ricochet frangible ammunition from Internation- al Cartidge Corporation. The ICC comes in different flavors - 9 mm Para, 5,56/.223, 7,62/.308, .300BLK and .12 ga. The de- sign of the bullet ensures the minimum over-penetration or ric- ochet dangers, enhancing the safety of the trainee soldier or po- liceman, as well as that of the bystanders. The bullets are made of polymer-bonded copper dust – on impacting the hard surface (steel, concrete) they simply disintegrate into dust. These are highly recommended for the indoors shooting ranges, as neither primers, nor projectile contain any harmful substances such as lead. The effectiveness and safety of use was demonstrated on RANGE SYSTEM steel targets - we could fire .300BLK and 9mm Para even from the point-blank distance and there were no flying ricochets or parts. Just a copper powder. The ICC ammunition was also shot to the ballistic gel blocks so guests could observe how the rounds behave inside the simulated soft tissues. The WORKS11 has also heavier stuff in their offer such as a wide variety of Belgian MECAR rounds developed for Swedish 84mm Carl Gustaf anti-tank recoilless rifles. During the demo, different HEAT, smoke and illumination rounds were fired (the latter ones during the night time shooting). An interesting and not very common weapon systems presented was the the AGS- 17 Plamya (Russian: Пламя; Flame) 30mm automatic grenade launcher designed in Soviet Union (this particular one was in new old stock condition as it came from DDR stocks). New types of d more effective rounds for those AGLs are manufactured by Bulgarian ARSENAL - it offers also a ultimate variety of modern rounds for the SPG-9 recoilless rifles and RPG-7 launchers plus even their own design which is combination of the RPG-7D and RPG-7V grenade launcher. These could be a very effective arma- ment for the light infantry units. ARSENAL also offers a suite of IN ACTION
