The Polish AviATion MuseuM At the beginning of November 2016 we were invited to the Polish Aviation Museum in Cracow – we hope that it is a beginning of a successful cooperation between Museum and FRAG OUT! Magazine. We would like to show you this very specific Museum and its collection, also these pieces which are not available for everyone! The Polish Aviation Museum in Cracow, southern Poland is situated on the area of the former Rakowice-Czyżyny airfield. The mission consists of in gathering exhibits linked with aviation and its history, as well as preserving them. Although the museum has in its name an adjective "Polish", its collection includes planes, helicopters, their parts elements and memorabilia connected with aviation from almost all over the world, from a beginning of history of the flights. Now, an exhibition available to the visitors presents more than 100 planes and helicopters, as well as a number of the memorabilia difficult to be counted, such, uniforms, equipment, parts of the aircraft, documents or maps. The Polish Aviation Museum in Cracow has also its own library. Beside a permanent exhibition, the museum also organizes temporary subject focused exhibitions – strictly connected with, e.g. a particular event, conference and the other events that promote aviation. www.fragoutmag.com
