Apart from Poles, the participants were: the US Armt
1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry
Division (Raiders) as the main participant, Romanian
33.POSADA mechanized battalion, Belgian reconnais-
sance company, Norwegian LLRP reconnaissance,
Bulgarian SOF, Armenian EOD and Ukrainian CIMIC.
The Polish unit moved on the wheels in two stages.
The first group started on 25 August at 04.00 A.M.,
while the main forces at 10.00 P.M. Having crossed the
borders, both columns were escorted by German MP.
The encountered faults of vehicles were repaired on
spot. When the destination was reached, soldiers were
accommodated in the Hohenfels barracks.
Structure of the 7th Mounted Rifles Battalion (7bSKW):
On 27 – 31 August, eight soldiers took part in training
that was to prepare them to the role of an exercise
observer controller. The training was conducted by
a team of exercise observer controllers assigned to
the Polish battalion (each unit had such a team as-
signed); its task was to assess the conducted opera-
tions and ensure that safety rules are adhered to. The
