2016. In the next days, the information evolved and was repeated by government officials. According to them, in 2016 Polish forces would receive two helicopters for training purposes. In the 2017 another batch of eight helicopters would be delivered and the final number of those "urgent operational requirement" helicopters would reach 21. The maintenance would be executed in WZL1 workshops in Poland – an entity specialized in servicing military helicopters. The number of helicopters could suggest that, first of all, they would be delivered to given to the 7.EDS and Naval Aviation Brigade – the General Staff of the Polish Army indicated that equipping them is the most urgent task at least due to the operational and technical requirement (nowadays, there is only one rescue helicopter securing the whole Polish region of Baltic Sea). As a part of the the canceled tender, 7.EDS was to receive eight helicopters, while naval aviation - six CSAR versions that would replace Mi-14PLR and allow rebuilding the rescue potential by the Baltic Sea. On 18th October, the MoD informed about commencing procedures to be conducted as a part of the urgent operational requirement – first of all, the helicopters will be delivered to the 7.EDS. All of the previous bidders were invited to initial negotiations phase.
