Polsih MoD is still putting on hold the decision about taking part in European procuremetn program for Airbus A330 MRTT multi-role tankers which could be also utilized as cargo plane or for passenger transport (more than 100 pax). The MoD annouced that Poland is involved in the program but Luxemburg and Netherlands are still in the analytic and negotiations phase. The total cost of participation in this European program can also influence the other expenses in the Polish Armed Forces modernization program budget. In July 2016, Polish MoD annouced that only helicopter with on-board radar meets its requirements but later on, the requirements were redefined.
