www.fragoutmag.com The FB Łucznik-Radom revealed new MSBS grenade launcher in October 2016 - it was not so small surprise for everyone, that was watching the modular carbine getting built. Till now, the under-barrel grenade launcher was in the MSBS system, but it was characterized by very original shape and uncommon setup. It was built in the bull-pup system (in some way, because there is no magazine, but trigger and ma- nipulators were placed near the muzzle end and in the front of chamber) and it looked like beefed up Magpul AFG grip. That construction supposed to provide better ergonomics and weight distribution. It was perceptible especially carrying weapon in the so called patrol position when gun was pointed toward the ground. In that position, advantages of uncommon shape that grenade launcher were exposed – hand supporting the front part of the weapon was laid out in the comfort posi- tion, and the wrist was no longer bent like in classic designs. Additionally grenade launcher was very well composing into the shape of MSBS-5,56B bull-pup variant and enabled much better weight balance of the whole setup. The FB Łucznik-Radom recognized however, that grenade launcher like that, has more disadvantages than advantages and decide to build weapon in the classic system. That way, the new grenade launcher was designed, which – as I said before – is „classical" GL rob of original look. It was decided for more traditional placement of the manipulators and barrel locking lever was placed on the side of the frame (earlier on the trigger guard). Second reason was the better fit for at- tachable stock for standalone configuration.
