Foundation of every training, no matter what kind of sport, is change, means progression. It is possible only when we go beyond out boundaries, we leave our comfort zone, extend range of our abilities, we become better version of ourselves. Of course it is not about moving weights onto shooting range - the case is much wider. Gym is very large room equip- ped with different kind of training machines , bars, dumbbells, kettles from few years, crossfitbox, and also mirrors, in which we can look over ourselves. Yes. Mirrors are integral part of the gym, and there is logical justify for that, but you have to understand a reason, why the gyms were create, and what need they were answer for. Gym is place made for people who train bodybuilding, so kind of sport, which main assumption is to create spe- cific silhouette. In order to achieve that goal, training consist exercises that isolates particular muscle groups. Muscles have to be train in proper combination and with the right intensity what gives us control of growth for that concrete muscle. Training like that got sense if we train body building, and prepare for competition, what basically is showing off. Here's where the mirrors came from. You have to constantly correct your physique. This is difficult sport, and I have no intention to take away anything. Establishment of training that I use, are a tad different. I don't work out to prepare to show off. I'm not inter- ested in building my body, to fit into every decade (or les) changing canons. My goal is, as long as I can to stay in shape, develop my body in overall meaning, work out in the way that fits my everyday needs. To be efficient, fat and healthy That's why I prefer complex exercises, and focus on those which develop core - deep muscle groups responsible for stability. For me crucial are squats, pull ups, push press and all those which engage most muscle groups of my body at once. Such workouts I propose to apply during training on the shooting range. Stronger arms and wrists means stronger grip. Strong back and legs means more reliable posture. Better mobility of joints and hips means faster change the direction of fire. And so on. I'm focusing on the exercises that require minimum amount of hardware but give maximum effect and stim- ulate as many muscles as they can at the same time. Of course, if someone has the opportunity to train on the shooting range with the bar, dumbbells of kettle bell, it solves the problem and I gives the possibility to diversify the training. It's known that main enemy of every phys- ical progress is monotony, that's why the training has to be constantly changed, trying to modify it, but not falling into overly complication, It's good to get kettle bell or weight bag, also TRX. Especially last one, having com- pact build and little weight; it can become great friend at training with the gun. Having extra equipment allows us www.fragoutmag.com
