What is more, the membrane provides protection against all sorts of dirt that may lurk in the sewers, mud, or street gutters, and such surprises might be encountered under conditions of a battlefield. The only problem I had with the boots itself it's the lacing system. After two month the lace in the right boots started to un-tighten by themselves. Also, the Nepal PRO are quite heavy. kordek SayS: Haix Nepal PRO - their task is to provide feet with the best stabilization under difficult outdoor conditions and they are still lighter than similar boots offered by competitors. The feature that distinguishes the boots from other similar models of that type is the new summer-type Gore-Tex. Yes. You have read it correct- ly. Summer. To be used during summer. Gore-Tex. And now brains of some of the people who are reading this article got a huge lag... Did you mean summer Gore-Tex? Yes, I did. W.L. The first impression – WOW! Despite the initial feeling of stiff- ness, boots are comfortable and they perfectly stabilize the ankle (and in my case, this one is susceptible to in- juries). I tried all sorts of hiking socks to use them with membranes. Their common feature was that they also consisted of merino wool (I also tested socks with the logo of Gore that I got together with the boots; they are also cool, by the way). Haix Nepal PRO BOOTS
