Szpiglu'S review I had the opportunity to test LOWA Task Force Z-6S Mid GTX for several months, under various conditions – from EDC, using them at the shooting range, to tour- ist purposes. They were made at really high quality but that has already become a tradition of the German company – they have the standard of previous prod- ucts available in their offer. LOWA has quickly gained enthusiasts thanks to the connection of an attractive and modern look and design with practicability. LOWA Task Force Z-6S Mid GTX stabilize feet well, they are quite stiff, but without exaggeration. Those are not shells, but multi-task boots. When compared to Zephyrs, they are more suitable to be used when we carry heavier backpacks. Running with those boots on will be problematic, but we will be happy to have them on our feet when having a heavy backpack or being on a rocky slope. I think that they are good for being used in urban ar- eas or places where mobility is of superior character. Those boots should not be used as everyday footwear. Using them at a shooting range would also mean the triumph of form over content, but they were not made for such purposes. Some may think whether Z-6S is a good choice if someone needs more universal boots. The market has a wide offer of hiking and climbing footwear, while competitors present models that are also perfect in urban areas or in places where we require mobility and comfort. Lighter, smaller, less stiff. In my opinion LOWA Task Force Z-6S Mid GTX are good (but not ex- cellent) hiking boots and pretty mediocre boots for everyday use. I would not call them multi-functional footwear, like the producer names them – they are too stiff and too big (Zephyrs are far smaller and neat). Soles of the boots have cuts for rapelling and although I did not use Z-6S in such situations, I give a plus for adjusting the sole for such purposes. Lowa Z-6s GTX BOOTS
