2. Bolt override extremely rarely occurring type of malfunc- tion that is based on jamming emp- ty casing or a round between bolt and bolt carrier key or piston (de- pending on system). 2.1. problem Cause is similar as the double feed malfunction, with difference, that the first round is kicked up above the bolt or sitting angled. Generally it is result of broken magazine and rotating weapon to the sides favors this jam. 2.2. FIX We act the same as the double feed type to the moment of lock- ing bolt to the rear. Jam is so hard, that pulling on the charging han- dle have to be as strong as we can, and holding bolt catch at the same time, we have to strike the charging handle forward by our hand. Then we again reload the weapon to the moment we hear dis- tinctive metallic sound of prop- erly reloading weapon („on empty barrel extension"). Then you have to insert magazine and reload again. In the situation, when jam is very strong and charging handle won't move a bit, you can fold your stock, point the muzzle up, and hold- ing charging handle, ram the stock to the ground (alternative way is, when we have at hand tool, use of multitool like Leatherman MUT – we hook that onto front of bolt carrier and pull strongly to the rear to unjam the round. Extremely case of that type of malfunction is inserting whole round under the charging handle when the round is lying flat under the charging handle, then to ex- tract that round we need tools and time.
